Rabo Impact Foundation has the ambition to help accelerate initiatives that contribute to sustainable societal transitions, especially where others hesitate. We support innovators active in transitions such as energy, food systems, circularity, water, healthcare, and affordable housing. With our support, through funding, expertise, or access to our network, we help ideas grow into solutions that can transform systems.
Our focus areas
Rabo Impact Foundation focuses in particular on projects, cooperatives or early-stage enterprises that would not, or not sufficiently, develop without additional support. At first, the foundation focuses on three key areas:

About this focus
Rabo Impact Foundation applies this focus for 2026 in order to achieve targeted and decisive impact in this early phase, while simultaneously shaping further operational scaling. In parallel, the Rabo Impact Foundation is working on the continued development of its investment strategy. Initiatives that fall outside this focus but still align with our mission and are expected to have the potential to achieve significant impact are nevertheless welcome. Such initiatives provide valuable input for the further development of the investment strategy towards 2027 and beyond.
